dalla sopravvivenza alle nuove idee di recupero
Nell’ ambito del progetto “Recupero dei Castagneti”
si inserisce la nostra proposta turistica culturale.
Il castagno, infatti è parte integrante della vita
e della storia della sopravvivenza delle popolazioni stanziali
dei Monti della Laga.
Questa proposta vuole abbinare vacanza e cultura attraverso
un viaggio nella storia “testimoniata”; un viaggio
in quella storia che scaturisce dai racconti dei vecchi
montanari, passa indenne attraverso i secoli e giunge
ancora pura nella nostra modernità mediatica e
virtuale.
Non solo una vacanza di storia, cultura e conoscenza ma
anche riflessione ed idee sull’importanza del recupero
della tradizione.
Durante la vacanza sarete accompagnati lungo vecchi sentieri
che attraversano boschi di castagni centenari, parteciperete
ai lavori o di preparazione o raccolta, gusterete un pranzo
nel bosco con un atmosfera che non pensavate nemmeno esistesse.
Saprete finalmente la differenza che passa tra un marrone
ed una castagna e potrete fare cosÏ fare i vostri
acquisti senza essere turlupinati.
Riconoscerete la fibra del legno di castagno e la sua
importanza.
Il ricordo di questa vacanza sarà la zuppa che
riceverete in omaggio, che potrete utilizzare come integratore
energetico naturale o come scusa per un cena tra amici.

Chestnut
woods and chestnuts.
Our tourist and cultural proposal is
included in the “ Salvage of the chestnut wood”
project.
The chestnut tree is part of the life and the history
of the surviving of the people living in the “Monti
della Laga”.
Such proposal combines holiday and
culture across a trip to t history of these people;
a trip in that history which comes from the tales of
the old mountain people and which passes undamaged through
the centuries and still pure reaches our virtual modernity.
Not only an historical and cultural
holiday but a real chance to reflect upon the meaning
of the salvage of the tradition.
During the holiday you’ll be led along old paths
surrounded by centennial chestnut wood, you’ll
take part to the preparation of the wood for the chestnut
crop, you’ll taste a fantastic meal in the wood
in an
atmosphere you had never imagined.
You’ll finally find out the difference between
the common chestnut and the more tasteful brown chestnut
so that you can make your buying without being defrauded.
You’ll learn how to recognise the chestnut wood
fibre and its importance.
At the end of your stay you’ll receive the ingredients
for a vegetable soup.
